Changing Education: Lessons From Hawaii

Recently a University of Hawaii College of Education graduate course for experienced teachers (from 5 to 20 years in the classroom) asked the “students” to design their ideal school system. The instructor might have expected a comfort and loyalty to many aspects of the current system, their existing schools and department.
